Vicki possesses a love of living things and the outdoors, finding inspiration in her deep connection to nature. Living in
Taos, NM, she is especially moved by big skies, high deserts, crisp mountain air, blazing sunsets and the soft colors of nature.
Taos fuels her heart and soul in her pursuit of her artistic craft.
Vicki combs the areas in which she lives and visits, and collects nature's leavings. One of her favorite past times is walking,
especially in forests, pastures, gardens, woods, deserts, and along waterways. She is especially fascinated by and drawn to
the interesting objects nature leaves behind and looks at these "leavings" in new ways, as having new purpose.
These natural elements, combined with intent, weave a story in Vicki's soul that ultimately brings forth a Spirit Shaman.

Each Spirit Shaman is an original and unique collection of materials, and is imbued with a specific essence, unique energy,
purpose and intent.
Vicki has no idea how a finished Spirit Shaman will look when she begins the creation process
- it literally flows from her heart and soul, a reminder that we are all inter-connected.
Papers that come from far
away countries, combined with the natural elements found in diverse areas of this country, blend in spirit to become a Spirit
Shaman.

Materials that have been used in the shaman creations include barks, fungi, feathers, wood, pods, beads, raw wool, fur, grasses,
bamboo, seeds, and horsehair, in addition to many others.
Vicki uses only natural elements in creating each Spirit Shaman, and no animals are harmed in the making of the Spirit
Shamans.
May the energies and intent in these Spirit Shamans flow into you, reminding you of your own beauty, creative spirit,
strength and uniqueness.
